My Mom Needed Some Cleaning Help

My Mom Needed Some Cleaning Help

My mom is so independent. Even at almost 80 years old, she prefers to do a lot of things herself. She plans her own meals, which includes shopping for the groceries and cooking them as well. She takes care of her own personal hygiene, and she attends church twice a week. There are things that she is slowing down on though. I noticed that she was having a harder time cleaning parts of her condo, so I started looking into a part time helper in Singapore. I wanted her to enjoy her golden years and not worry about falling off a step stool because she was trying to clean the top of the fridge.

The Internet Helps Customers Learn More About What My Restaurant Offers

I haven’t been very onboard with jumping around to different social media accounts in my personal life. On the other hand, I’ve also learned that you must follow your customers to each of the social media sites they join, though. This is how I learned that I need to buy Instagram followers for the Instagram account that I opened for my restaurant. I don’t need to have a personal account on every site, but different customers make choices about the sites they want to be on, and I have to roll with the punches when it comes to open a business account on many sites.

My parents owned a clothing shop when I was a child and teen, and we lived in a small town.… Read More

You Never Know Who You’ll Meet

You Never Know Who You’ll Meet

It hasn’t been long since I moved into the Stone Oak Apartments in San Antonio TX, but I must say that I love it. The apartments are great, and I love that I have access to a pool and gym. The best thing about the apartments is that I’ve meet some people who are great to be around. Whenever we have some free time, we get together and do something at the apartments or at a nearby location. I met these people in some interesting ways.

I met one person while I was swimming at the pool in the apartments on my first week of moving in. I was doing some laps up and down the pool, when this person asked me if I wanted to have a bit of a race. This person took swimming as more of a competition, rather than a simple way to have fun or exercise. I agreed to the race, and started swimming as fast as I could. I was actually able to beat this person, which was a surprise to the both of us. He wanted to know how I was able to beat him so easily.… Read More

You Need to Stay on Top of Things at All Times

Knowing that you need to take care of the things you own in your home or at your business is one thing, but actually doing those things is yet another thing. I was told long ago that the air conditioning until for my real estate office would probably go out soon, but I ignored that. I spent extra funds on other things in the office instead. So, it was no surprise at all when I learned that phoning in for air conditioning repair in NYC was the first thing I had to do when I got into the office one morning last week.

I woke up in the morning and things seemed as normal.… Read More

Time for an Attorney: from Marriage to Divorce in Six Months

Time for an Attorney: from Marriage to Divorce in Six Months

Almost as quickly as my brother got married, he found himself looking for a divorce lawyer in Schenectady NY. I think his marriage officially lasted all of six months and once his wife bled him dry, she was having an affair with her next ex-husband-to-be.

Now I can’t say that I blamed my brother. Sheila was a gorgeous woman and every man in town paid her attention. My brother David was incredibly flattered when she started ignoring the other men in the bar where they met in favor of his company. They dated for several months, all the while David’s friends were warning him about Sheila, claiming she had come onto them, had been seen with other men and was generally a gold digger.… Read More
